Rob Forknall as the Nanny
The pantomime dame is a theatrical tradition dating back hundreds of years, and in many ways so is Rob.
His Dames have entertained audiences up and down the UK for decades with their perfect balance of womanly charm and wicked humour. Whether as Aladdin’s Widow Twanky, Dick Whittington’s Sarah the Cook or Jack and the Beanstalk’s Dame Trott, Rob is one of the few performers able to pull off a proper pantomime dame.
Rob is best known in the county for his open air summer Shakespeare tours, but he has also played dame around the country for the last twenty years, most recently playing pantomime seasons in Kettering, Rickmansworth and Rotherham.
